There are many companies who do not yet fully utilize all of the amazing things that the internet can provide regarding marketing and poor marketing habits have seemingly propagated throughout the internet, much to the dismay of marketers who have been trying unsuccessfully for quite some time to ensure that companies are able to use the information they gain through various interactions with customers in wonderful ways that will allow them to enhance their current customer relationships and even form new bonds with additional customers who are funneled through the company’s various marketing techniques.
For example, engaging in list segmentation is something that is quite often repeated in many segments of the marketing industry, but not many companies are quite sure of how best to make sure that they can design such a motif for email blasts and statistics currently suggest that only just over forty percent of companies involved in various aspects of marketing through emails actually bother with segmentation and even fewer companies look to personalize those email efforts.
Interestingly, even fewer companies are actually involved in furthering their email campaigns based on specific preferences of individual customers and for those companies who do engage in some customization, there are a deceptively low number of companies who are actually able to monitor those requests for customization in any sort of real time. This means that companies very often fail to keep customers happy who are on email lists and have requested a change to their status as regards that list.
